1. Responsible Entity

FlightCue is operated by Tastan Film Produktion, Senol Tastan, Holzgasse 20, 5242 Birr, Switzerland. Contact: letsgo@senolt.com.

2. Data We Collect

Early-access reservations: Email + product-interest tag, stored in Railway Postgres.

Pre-order checkout: Stripe collects name, billing + shipping address, payment details. We see only the Stripe Customer ID, email, and shipping address (needed to ship the unit).

SimBrief / VATSIM lookups: Your typed SimBrief username is forwarded to simbrief.com to fetch your OFP. VATSIM live-pilot data is fetched from data.vatsim.net. We don't persist these lookups beyond a 60-second in-process cache.

Cube usage: The cube itself (once shipped) pulls VATSIM/SimBrief data from our servers and plays public radio streams. No telemetry is sent back to FlightCue except optional firmware-update checks.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6 & Swiss DSG)

  • Consent: Early-access email signup, cookie acceptance
  • Contract: Pre-order deposit + shipping fulfillment
  • Legitimate Interest: Service improvement, security, fraud prevention

4. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe (US/EU) — Payment processing
  • Railway (US) — Application hosting + Postgres database
  • VATSIM — Public flight-data feed
  • SimBrief — Optional flight-plan lookup (user-authenticated)
  • Public radio broadcasters — Country-specific audio streams (BBC, Radio France, Deutschlandfunk, etc.)
  • radio-browser.info — Community-curated radio station directory

US transfers covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). We do not sell your data.

5. Cookies & Tracking

Essential (always active):

  • fc_consent_v1 — Stores your cookie preference (localStorage)
  • flightcue_admin — Admin login (only set if you sign into /admin)

FlightCue uses no analytics, ads, or tracking cookies. Period.

6. Your Rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent. Reply to your Stripe receipt to cancel a pre-order, or email letsgo@senolt.com for any data request.

Supervisory Authority: FDPIC (Switzerland) or your local EU DPA.

7. Data Retention

Reservation emails kept until shipment. Order records kept 10 years (Swiss commercial law). Deleted on request within 30 days.

8. Children

Not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
